Messaging Policy (SMS & WhatsApp)

H5Tennis sends transactional and notification messages by SMS (text message) and WhatsApp to users who explicitly opt in. This page explains what we send, how often, how to stop, and how your information is handled. Messages are delivered through Twilio (SMS) and Meta's WhatsApp Business platform (WhatsApp). This Messaging Policy supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

What Messages We Send

If you opt in, you may receive messages such as:

• Tournament registration confirmations.
• Match schedule updates ("Your match is scheduled for Saturday at 9:00 AM, Court 3").
• Court-queue updates ("You're up next on Court 3," "You're on in five matches").
• Match results to spectators you have authorized to follow you.
• Account messages such as password resets and invite codes.

We do not send marketing or promotional messages to opted-in users without separate, additional consent.

Opt-In

SMS and WhatsApp messages are opt-in. You provide your mobile number and check the messaging-consent box during sign-up or in your profile. Your consent is recorded with a timestamp and IP address so we can demonstrate compliance to mobile carriers and messaging providers. You can review and revoke your consent at any time from your profile.

Opt-Out

You can stop messages at any time by:

• Replying STOP to any SMS message from H5Tennis. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages until you opt back in.
• Replying STOP to any WhatsApp message, or blocking the H5Tennis number in WhatsApp.
• Turning off SMS or WhatsApp notifications in your H5Tennis profile.

Opting out of messaging does not delete your H5Tennis account or affect access to the Service in any other way.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your tournament and match activity. During an active tournament day you may receive multiple messages; outside of tournaments you typically receive few or none.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge for incoming and outgoing SMS messages and for data used by WhatsApp, depending on your plan. H5Tennis does not charge a fee for messages we send, but is not responsible for charges from your carrier.

Carrier Disclaimer

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We make reasonable efforts to deliver messages promptly but cannot guarantee delivery.

WhatsApp Specific

WhatsApp messages are sent through the WhatsApp Business platform operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. By opting in to receive WhatsApp messages from H5Tennis, you also agree to WhatsApp's terms of service. You can stop WhatsApp messages by replying STOP, blocking the H5Tennis WhatsApp number, or disabling WhatsApp notifications in your H5Tennis profile.

Data Sharing for Messaging

We share your phone number and the message content only with the messaging providers (Twilio for SMS; Meta/Twilio for WhatsApp) that deliver the message on our behalf. We do not share mobile opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Children

For users under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide messaging consent on behalf of the user. We recommend that parents register the parent's mobile number rather than the player's, and forward updates to the player as appropriate.
