H5 Enterprises, LLC ("H5Tennis," "we," "us," or "our") provides the H5Tennis platform at h5-tennis.com (the "Service"), which helps players, coaches, tournament directors, and spectators schedule matches, score live, follow tournaments, and review statistics. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, password (stored in hashed form only), and the role you are registering as (Player, Scorekeeper, Coach, Tournament Director, or Administrator). We may also collect optional fields such as date of birth, gender, USTA ID, UTR ID, and a profile photo.

Player and match data. Match schedules, scores, point-by-point results, statistics, court assignments, school affiliations, and tournament entries are stored when you use the Service.

Communications data. If you opt in to email, SMS, or WhatsApp messages from us, we store your phone number and your consent record (timestamp and IP address) so we can send you account, match, and tournament notifications and so we can demonstrate consent to mobile carriers and messaging providers.

Technical data. We automatically collect IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and timestamps for security monitoring, debugging, and basic analytics.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
• Authenticate users and protect against fraud and abuse.
• Schedule matches, record scores, and publish results to authorized viewers.
• Send transactional messages (e.g., match scheduled, reset password) and, with your opt-in, notification messages (e.g., your match is up next).
• Honor referee, coach, and tournament-director workflows.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

Within the Service. Match scores, names, and statistics are visible to other authorized users in the natural flow of the platform — for example, an opponent sees the result of a match you played against them, a tournament director sees their tournament's matches, and spectators with a valid share link see the live results they were invited to follow.

Service providers (sub-processors). We use the following third parties to operate the Service:

• Microsoft Azure — application hosting and database storage.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (account confirmation, password reset, invitations).
• Twilio — SMS message delivery, with your opt-in.
• Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business) — WhatsApp message delivery, with your opt-in.

These providers process information on our behalf under contractual data-protection terms.

Legal. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the Service.

4. SMS and WhatsApp Messaging

We use SMS (via Twilio) and WhatsApp (via Meta/Twilio) to send tournament and match notifications, account messages, and shared spectator links — only to users who have explicitly opted in. We do not share mobile opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information shared with our messaging providers (phone number and message content) is used solely to deliver the message you requested. 5. Children's Privacy

H5Tennis is used in scholastic and junior tennis settings, including by players under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent in accordance with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). For players aged 13–17, we recommend that a parent or guardian review and approve the player's account. Parents can request access to or deletion of their child's information by contacting us at the address below.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and match data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize personal identifiers, although match records (in which you participated as one of two opponents) may be retained for the integrity of the historical record. Spectator share-link tokens are deleted when revoked or after the associated event expires.

7. Your Rights

You can review and update most of your information from your profile page. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below. Where required by law, we will respond within the timeframe set by applicable regulation.

8. Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and operate the Service. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising. You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings; doing so may sign you out and reset preferences.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed password storage, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy here with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, may notify you via email or in-product banner.
